Requirements
i) Not limited to but preferably from a computer science background
ii) Access to a computer or laptop and a good internet connection
iii) Passionate about coding, reading, and indigenous peoples
iv) Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
v) Hands-on experience with markup languages
vi) Experience with JavaScript, CSS, React, Django, and jQuery
vii) Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
viii) In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
ix) Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and others
x) Familiar with server-side languages such as Python or Ruby
xi) Familiarity with database technology such as AWS, Mongo
xii) Good verbal communication skills
xiii) Good problem-solving skills
xiv) Attention to detail
Responsibilities
i) Work with our CTO to define a technical product roadmap
ii) Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
iii) Optimize applications for maximum speed
iv) Design mobile-based features
v) Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
vi) Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
vii) Participate in weekly calls with the entire organization
